Flow Cytometry Assistant or Specialist
We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive individual to join our cutting-edge Flow Cytometry Core Facility here at the Babraham Institute as a Flow Cytometry Assistant/Flow Cytometry Specialist. The Flow Cytometry Core Facility offers high quality service and state-of-the-art instrumentation to members of Babraham Institute and external companies, including those based on the Babraham Research Campus
The Flow Cytometry Core Facility is equipped with state-of-the-art analysers and sorters and is situated within a growing research campus that is home to the Institute and over 60 companies. The post holder will assist the Head of the Facility in providing a smooth and reliable cell sorting and analysis service to researchers. This position is an exciting opportunity for an individual to work within a dynamic team and to develop a career in cytometry.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience of flow cytometry and will be employed as a ‘Flow Cytometry Assistant’.
However, any candidates with substantial experience in Flow Cytometry, preferably including experience in Cell Sorting will be employed as a ‘Flow Cytometry Specialist’.

Funding for this position is available for one year in the first instance.
Starting salary is £25,795 per annum to £34,166 per annum depending on skills and experience.
Part-time working hours will be considered for this role and the salary will be pro-rated accordingly.
