About the Lab

Our group is focused on understanding the cooperative interactions that conspire to promote tumorigenic transformation. To discover drivers of cancer development and progression, we are creating in vitro and in vivo models of cell transformation that mimic alterations found in cancer patients. These models provide a useful platform to delineate pathways involved in cancer development and to discover new anti-cancer therapeutic approaches.

Job description

We are looking for a research technician to join our team and participate in cutting-edge cancer research projects. The successful candidate will be involved in the design and generation of knockout alleles using CrispR/Cas9 approach, as well as support the management of the generation of mutant mice. Furthermore, the candidate will assist lab members in their research projects. Planning and troubleshooting of experiments as well as excellent data management are expected.


  • a degree in Biomedical or Biological Sciences (Professional Bachelor/Engineer) or equivalent experience;
  • experience with mouse handling and models of disease is a plus; Felasa B certificate to work with animals is required;
  • a positive attitude, good communication skills, and enthusiasm to be a part of the international team;
  • fluency in written and spoken English and Dutch is required.
