Description

Your function within the department

Our research group is specialized on hormone-related tumors, mainly breast cancer and prostate cancer. The lab is positioned between basic biology and clinical research, so that biological insights can be swiftly translated towards the clinic. By studying the biological action of hormone receptors in cell lines and human tumors, we aim to increase our basic knowledge on tumor development and progression, but also reveal specific tumor traits related to patient outcome and response prediction. Your role is to support other researchers in our lab with computational analyses, processing in-house generated functional genomics data.

Your profile

We are seeking a highly committed and skilled technician with expertise in computational biology. Prior experience in analyzing high-throughout genomics data is a requirement, and prior experience with ChIP-seq and RNA-seq processing is preferable. Ideally, applicants also have prior wetlab experience.

Your career opportunities and terms of employment

You will be employed for a period of at least 2 years. The gross salary per month is € 2.066,- to € 2.960,- according to the FWG-function group 45, and depends on previous experience.
