Postdoctoral Research Scientist in Cellular Immunology

We have an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Research Scientist to join the Adrian Liston laboratory in our Lymphocyte Signalling and Development strategic programme.  The role will be responsible for an independent research programme which will involve technique troubleshooting, and data generation and analysis.  The project will focus on dissecting the role of regulatory T cells in the tissues, using primarily flow cytometry and animal models.

Applicants must have a PhD in immunology, with demonstrated research success (i.e., a first authorship publication with a demonstrated impact on the field). Applicants should have experience in high parameter flow cytometry and in cellular immunology techniques.  A practical and theoretical knowledge of regulatory T cell biology is advantageous, as is experience in molecular biology techniques and mouse models of disease.

This is a limited term appointment with funding for this post expected to be available for a period of two years. There may be a possibility of appointing two Postdoctoral Research Scientists as part of this recruitment campaign.

A full job specification and role requirements can be found attached to this vacancy.
