BT_EMBORC

How can we make the peer review process faster, more transparent and empower postdocs to become recognised as reviewers?

This joint EU-LIFE and EMBO Review Commons webinar will introduce the Review Commons model and its Early-Career Researcher reviewer pilot, including how postdocs can become recognised reviewers. It will also explore the value of reviewed preprints, incentives and recognition for reviewers, and the future of trust in peer review in the age of AI.

The discussion will bring together Thomas Lemberger, Deputy head of scientific publications at EMBO; Sara Monaco, Managing editor of Review Commons; Alexander Aulehla, Director of the Developmental biology unit at EMBL; Jakob Schnabl-Baumgartner, EMBO Fellow at FMI; and Rosella Visintin, Research group leader at IEO and co-chair of the EU-LIFE Training Working Group.

Date and time: 12 November, 11.30-13.00 CET

Log in details to the online session will be shared with registered participants in the days prior to the event. For members of the EU-LIFE and EMBO/EMBL communities only.
