Recapping 2015 and looking ahead: EU-LIFE Community met in Basel

Either in joint sessions or parallel working groups, the EU-LIFE community discussed the progress and future challenges both for the alliance and for European science in topics ranging from science policy to sharing good practice in key research-related fields.

This year, taking advantage of being hosted by our partner FMI the overarching topic was the challenges and opportunities posed by the interaction of academia with industry. Two keynote speakers inspired the participants to reflect on what does industry expect from academia and on the European Innovative Medicines Initiative.

Judging by the fruitful discussions, the upcoming months will be very busy for the alliance.
