EU-LIFE Better Together session: Carbon accounting
Life science institutes are increasingly recognizing their role in reducing environmental impact. But how big is this impact and what are the most important contributing factors? In this Better Together session, we will dive into the topic of carbon accounting, and learn that everyone can take action.
Three sustainability experts and members of the EU-LIFE Sustainability Task Force (Bastien Pinot, CSR engineer at Institut Curie; Laura Tejada Sandy, sustainability officer at CRG and Wouter De Broeck, sustainability coordinator at VIB) will epxlain the principles of carbon accounting and will share experiences, challenges, and lessons learned from calculating their institutional footprints.
