EU-LIFE Better Together session: Research Assessment
In this upcoming event in the Better Together series, we will focus on Research Assessment: navigating CoARA.
The session will update you on the evolving landscape of research assessment in academia, and highlight practical tools for improvement. A focus point will be the Coalition for the Advancement of Research Assessment (CoARA), an initiative aimed at reshaping how research quality and impact are evaluated. Iris Uribesalgo will introduce CoARA’s various working groups and will share how researchers and administrators can actively engage with these efforts to drive meaningful change.
Finally, we’ll explore the upcoming CoARA Cascade funding call, that is going to reopen after the first call last summer. This call aims to support projects in innovative research assessment. Nikola Kostlánová (CEITEC) and Silvia Tognetti (CRG), who submitted a proposal in the previous call, will share their experience. This is a great opportunity to consider potential ideas for this call and gain insight into new avenues for contributing to the improvement of research assessment practices. Therefore, please share this invite with your colleagues in your institute.
