EU-LIFE TechWatch series - ZEISS Visions in microscopy driven by innovation

The TechWatch Series is an initiative of the EU-LIFE Core Facilities Working Group to allow all EU-LIFE members to benefit from the technological expertise of individual members, strengthen collaboration and encourage discussions.

The second workshop of the series features ZEISS, a leading manufacturer of microscopes. Sensitivity in Life Sciences microscopy is too often still misunderstood as only related to the detector. With a growing demand for fast, long-term imaging in 3D, possibly combined with super-resolution, it is indeed a must to have detectors that can capture faint signals. ZEISS’ vision is to provide systems that bring the highest detection and illumination sensitivity to the researcher, enabling them to observe life without (unknowingly) altering its processes.

This event is addressed to all interested from EU-LIFE partner institutes.
