EU-LIFE welcomes UK-EU deal’s agreement including Horizon Europe

On 24 December, the EU and UK secured a post-Brexit trade deal. It was heartening news that the deal includes UK participation in Horizon Europe – which is important for health, wealth and wellbeing of everyone in Europe including the UK and beyond.

With Nektarios Tavernarakis, Research Director at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (IMBB-FORTH), Vice-President of the European Research Council, and Geneviève Almouzni, honorary director of the Research Center of the Institut Curie, there are now three leading scientists of EU-LIFE institutes appointed active members of the ERC Scientific Council.
