Tell them a story! Storytelling workshop for junior scientists

Members of the EU-LIFE Science Communication Working Group organise this storytelling workshop for junior scientist, with the aim to introduce them to the concept of storytelling and the narrative template known as the ABT model. Experienced trainers from BRIC and FiMM will work with participants on how to present their own research in the form of a story. Storytelling in the digital context and how to tell stories on social media or other digital platforms will be also discussed.

The course contains both lectures and several practical exercises. The main outcomes for the participants are to learn to:

• Identify stories of interest to the public
• Tell stories by way of narratives
• Share stories across different channels and platforms including digital ones
